At 183 Euston Rd, London, UK this was a very interesting exhibition. We learnt that in 1600 the doctors did not have many cures because they did not even know about bacteria and viruses. So instead they offered quack cures and spa treatments. Many of the visitors still believe strongly in quack cures and home remedies. Felt sorry for the poor darlings. Remember that leprosy was cured with one pill – when they found out about bacteria and how to kill them. One lady told me about a man who lives without any food or water – its true she exclaimed angrily.
